Tour de france

This year the cycling race of the world – the Tour de France is setting off from Yorkshire. To celebrate this i created some paper cuts for the Bowery gallery in Leeds to celebrate the Grand Départ. The original cut outs will be on exhibtion there from the 1st weekend in June – more details can be found on there website

As well as the original paper cuts i have also created three screen prints of some of the paper cuts. These screen prints will be on exhibition at Cambridge Contempory Crafts, in Cambridge – another location the race is passing through.

The unframed prints are also available for sale here on my website, in the shop section and through the Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh.

I do hope you guys like the new work – it was so much fun to push myself to create something new. I especially loved creating the screen prints – time to get back into the printing studio and create more new work i think!! Happy cycling everyone! x

  1. These are stunning! My husband is a massive cycling fan and we live on the TdF route, might have to get him one of these for his birthday next week, it’ll make his day!

Bought the “to keep your balance, you must keep moving” for an anniversary present in edingburgh. A bunch of coincidences make it very special, such as a reading at our wedding, which was a poem by Michael Donaghy called Machines. Lovely work, which will be on our wall for years to come 🙂
